Important notice - to be read in conjunction with confidential summary report on the GLRO's London Election.

    

  • Three summary reports on in relation to the GLRO’s “London Election”, being the GLRO’s “Technical review of source code used for electronic counting”, “e-Counting Infrastructure Review” and “Election Day, Count Day and Post Count Review”, described below as “the Advisers’ Summary Reports”, are available for viewing by visitors to this site who click the icon marked ‘CONFIDENTIAL REPORTS-TO BE READ IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE IMPORTANT NOTICE ADJACENT’.
  • The Advisers’ Reports have been prepared on a confidential basis in accordance with terms of engagement agreed by the GLRO with the Advisers.
  • Following a request by the GLRO, made having regard to the Freedom of Information Act 2000, the Advisers have exceptionally agreed to the posting of the Advisers’ Summary Reports on this website, on the basis set out in this Notice, to enable readers to verify that reports relating to the GLRO’s London Election have been commissioned by the GLRO and issued by the Advisers, subject to the remaining paragraphs of this Notice, to which readers’ attention is drawn.
  • The Advisers wish readers to be aware that the Advisers’ work for the GLRO was designed solely to meet their agreed requirements and was determined by their needs at the time.
  • The Advisers’ Summary Reports should not be regarded as suitable to be used or relied on by any reader wishing to acquire any rights against the Advisers other than the GLRO for any purpose or in any context. In consenting to the posting of the Advisers’ Summary Report on this website, the Advisers do not accept or assume any responsibility to any readers other than the GLRO in respect of the Advisers’ work for the GLRO, the Advisers’ Summary Reports, or any judgments, conclusions, opinions, findings or recommendations that the Advisers may have formed or made and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Advisers will accept no liability in respect of any such matters to any readers other than the GLRO.
